Don't Stop Me Now

(I can think of at least one viewer who was sufficiently offended to switch off for that reason…)
(Should this *really* be incorporated into the Trivia...? Anyway, tidied up regarding the show being pulled after the third episode, and the remaining five being burned off in a Sunday teatime slot)

The show was taken off the air after the third episode due to very low ratings in an 8:00pm Sunday night slot and wouldn't return until that summer starting from 3 June in a 6:00pm Sunday night slot to burn off the remaining five episodes. Perhaps viewers were offended by the choice of theme music, McFly's cover of Don't Stop Me Now rather than Freddie and pals' original.

Commissioned for eight episodes, the show performed badly enough in its original Sunday 8pm slot to be taken off the air after the third episode, on 1 April 2012. The remaining five episodes were burned off between 3 June and 1 July 2012, still on Sundays but at 6pm. Perhaps viewers were offended by the choice of theme music, McFly's cover of Don't Stop Me Now rather than Freddie and pals' original.

Synopsis

A studio audience is split into three sections - singers, comedians, and variety acts. An act from each section is then selected to perform, with each act being required to complete their performance in 100 seconds. After the performances, the audience vote for who they want to leave the competition, with that act leaving by unusual methods (unusual if you haven't seen 101 Ways... that is) such as trapdoors and bungees cords. The winner receives £25,000.
