Synopsis

A phone-in format which was a sort of forerunner to today's quiz TV channels.

Not immensely interesting, The Family Channel (a sort of proto Challenge TV as it turns out) would often have a ninety minute gameshow block in the afternoon and then show Trivial Pursuit in the evenings. There was a question advertised going into and out of the commercials and you could answer by premium rate phone-in, and after Triv the host would talk to someone live at home to answer the question, the correct answer was worth a grand.
