Biography

Trained actor probably best known for his good cop/bad cop role of Alan McKenna in Coronation Street. After been seen on a Richard and Judy interview, an Action Time producer offered him the hosting role in the well-regarded Five show The Mole.

Associated with 85.4% of Britain's daytime game show output, Hugill spent almost ten years assisting The Banker on Deal or No Deal. He left Endemol in 2014 to set up Possessed, an entertainment arm of ITV Studios.

Trivia

Once played the role of "Stooge" in The Fast Show - Live!

His first part was the prestigious starring role of Merry Christmas, Mr Snowman, aged 9.
