Biography

Born in Gloucestershire on 8 June 1985, Joel Dommett started as a stand-up comedian with a sideline in acting - he was trained by the National Youth Theatre, and had a leading part in BBC pop satire Popatron.

He had a recurring role in E4's teen drama Skins and hosted a live show discussing that week's Made in Chelsea episode. That led to him working on Impractical Jokers for BBC3, and then a host of comedy panel games.

Though he's presented ITV2 coverage of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for some years, his narrow defeat in the 2017 competition propelled Joel to stardom. He continues to tour the comedy circuit.
