Synopsis

Regional quiz show based on regional knowledge. A local quiz for local people, if you like.

Three local people in each team who were asked questions about their own town. There were three series of six programmes each in a knockout format, recorded at the news studio at Pebble Mill with an audience of 25 people or so.

Trivia

Britain's top female cricketer Rachael Heyhoe-Flint was in the Wolverhampton team.

It achieved 2.5m viewers, very decent ratings for a local quiz. Host Alton Douglas writes: "I was told by a high-up at the BBC that it was dropped because it became 'Too popular for the opt-out slot and should be on the other channel'!" Alton is now a local author.
