Gladiators
28 March Gladiators: The Second Coming
A second series of Gladiators has been announced by the BBC ahead of the Grand Final this Saturday after the first series received an average of a whopping 8.3 million viewers. The second series, like the first, will consist of 11 episodes.

It's only been three weeks since the third series began but The 1% Club has been commissioned for a further two series as well as Christmas specials. The second episode of the current series received 5.3 million viewers, making it ITV's second biggest entertainment series of 2024 so far, behind Saturday Night Takeaway.

Tony Green has died at the age of 85. A veteran commentator and referee in the world of darts, he was best known as Jim Bowen's right hand man on Bullseye.

Radio presenter Steve Wright has passed away at the age of 69. He was best known for presenting his afternoon radio show for over 40 years on first Radio 1, then Radio 2, with his latter tenure including daily feature The Big Quiz, which ran from 1999 to 2007.

Picture Slam has been given an extended second series of 10 episodes. The BBC say the first series received an average of 3.3 million viewers during its run, making it the biggest entertainment launch on the Beeb last year.
