The BBC has announced that it is teaming up with music company BMG to select the United Kingdom's entry for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This comes after four years of selection by public vote producing very modest results, with this year's entrant Michael Rice finishing last in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Rylan Clark is on a game show roll this week as the new series of Supermarket Sweep begins on ITV2 next Monday, but wait, there's more, Channel 4 have announced that Rylan will take over hosting duties for a Christmas-themed series of Buy It Now later this year, and if that wasn't enough, the BBC announced that they were bringing back Ready Steady Cook with Rylan on BBC One. What will Channel 5 have for Rylan? Hosting duties for Blind Date? Only time will tell.
