Sandi Toksvig has announced that she is leaving The Great British Bake Off in order to focus on other work commitments. Her final series will be the next series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, due to air in the spring. Searches for a replacement are underway.

Laura Whitmore has been announced as the new host of 2020's Winter Love Island and show narrator Iain Stirling her Aftersun co-host. It is currently unknown as to whether Caroline Flack will return for subsequent series, summer series or no series.
