Although his showbiz career spanned three quarters of a century, Parsons was best known for chairing Just a Minute from its inception in 1967, as well as Sale of the Century. Sandi Toksvig has announced that she is leaving The Great British Bake Off in order to focus on other work commitments. Her final series will be the next series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer, due to air in the spring. Searches for a replacement are underway.
