As Monty Don's Real Craft: Ricochet for More4, 14 April to 19 May 2014 (6 episodes in 1 series)

Synopsis

A curiously uncompetitive (but nevertheless fascinating) win-a-job show. In each self-contained episode, three complete beginners are taught a traditional craft over six weeks. At the end, they create individual projects to be judged by an expert, and the person judged to be top of the class gets taken on to do a big real-life project.

Casting had already begun for a second series when the BBC pulled the plug, but the show would eventually return - on a commercial channel and under a new title - four years later.
