Biography

One of the BBC's first "personality" DJs, Pete Murray was best known for presenting shows like Six Five Special and Top of the Pops. He was one of the original Radio 1 DJs in 1967, though he soon transferred to Radio 2. He moved to LBC in 1983, and stayed with them until his retirement in 2002.
