Biography
Comedy writer and performer, most famous for Goodness Gracious Me and subsequently The Kumars at No. 42, the format of which has been licensed around the world and made him a very well-off man, innit. He's since moved into straighter acting roles, playing the title character in daytime drama The Indian Doctor and since 2015, cold case investigator DI Sunny Khan in Unforgotten.
