Biography

Mulhern's way in to children's TV was through performing magic on the Mad Science programme, and he still performs live magic on a regular basis; his touring production Stephen's Mega Mad Magic Show played to over a quarter of a million people. He's also played Danny in the theatre productions of Grease, appeared on The Royal Variety Show in 1997, and created and produced the Channel 4 magic show Freaky.

His non-game shows include the magic formats The Quick Trick Show and Tricky TV and the arts and crafts how-to show Fingertips. After these CITV shows were decommissioned, Stephen's innocent charm found a home on ITV's primetime schedule.
