We're rotating the Saturday night schedules: ahead of some major changes next week, Alan Carr's Epic Game Show returns for a second triangular series (ITV, Sat). We've also the first in a new run of Tipping Point Lucky Stars (ITV, Sun).

This week's big quiz final is University Challenge (BBC2, Mon); to mark the occasion, they've organised some special University Challenge Boat Races (BBC1, Sun). Quiz fans also have new Pointless (BBC1, from Tue), and a fourth series of Brightest Family - again with celebrities (ITV, Thu).

They're rotating the cookery shows: Masterchef ends (BBC1, Mon, Thu, Fri), as does Celebrity Bake Off (C4, Tue); Snackmasters resumes (C4, Tue) and Great Local Menu continues (BBC2, Wed-Fri). Scotland's Home of the Year resumes (BBC Scotland, Wed) as Ireland's Home of the Year finishes (RTE1, Tue).

Two silly shows are back: Celebrity Juice (ITV2, Thu) and Have I Got News for You (BBC1, Fri). A League of Their Own Roadtrip also winds back on television (The Satellite Channel In The Sky, Thu).

Monday 5 April - Easter Monday

Holiday just about everywhere. Nobody told,the Westminster administration, who had a press conference on BBC1 at 4.30. Except that it couldn't be shown in Scotland or Wales due to restrictions on political broadcasting during election periods. The upshot? Ready Steady Cook is off everywhere today (except for Yorkshire, apparently) and the Pointless repeat moved to BBC2 in England and Scotland. It's as complex as the University Challenge quarter-finals!

The death of Prince Philip was announced just after 12 noon. Transmission of many shows was changed.

Latest as of 3pm: BBC One, BBC Two and ITV have cleared their schedules through midnight. As a result, no Bargain Hunt, Head Hunters, Breaking the News, !mpossible, Best House in Town, Tenable, Ready Steady Cook, Eggheads, The Chase, Pointless, House of Games, or Great Local Menu airs today.

Channel 4 plans smaller changes; Countdown, Four in a Bed and The Circle are not affected, though a repeat of Couples Come Dine with Me was abandoned halfway through for breaking news. The Challenge Channel continues unaffected
