TV Guide 2021-06-12

With Mark Pougatch's World Cup The European Edition of Last Year This Year now well under way, schedules are as full of holes as the nets behind the catchers. They're even moving Pointless and The Chase for it!

But if you're into incomprehensible babbling, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue returns (Radio 4, Mon). Rather have a letter from a correspondent in Wales? Cardiff Singer of the World has a new run (BBC2 Wales and BBC4 everywhere, from Sun).

A new series of The Wall (BBC1, Sat), even though the old series ended just last week. And Channel 5 have found some episodes of Gino's Win Your Wish List Colon The Big Win from two years ago: they're now a key part of the 4pm weekdays schedule, for quiz fans displaced by sport.

  • Catchpoint (BBC1, 6.30) With a medical emergency delaying the football, Paddy McGuinness fronts an unbilled repeat from the first series.
  • Tipping Point Best Ever Finals (ITV, 7pm) The same medical emergency delays their football coverage, so ITV fills with their safest show imaginable.
