Schlag den Star weekend. Sophia Thomalla against Evelyn Burdecki; both kandidaten have already beaten another star. We expect bothersbar.co.uk will have some sort of live commentary.

Hirschhausens Quiz des Menschen is on ARD. It's a medical quiz, hosted by Eckart von Hirschhausen - sounds similar to Dr. Phil Hammond. A new series of cooking show The Taste begins on Sat.1 on Wednesday. On Friday, Paar Wars looks like a modern, more physical, take on Mr and Mrs; that's also on Sat.1.

For French speakers, Fort Boyard continues on TV5 at Saturday teatime. In Dutch, De Slimste Mens is on bvn.tv each weeknight.
