Lots of new thrills on Saturday night. Pointless Celebrities (BBC1) has a sports special. Beat the Chasers (ITV) features all six of 'em, and Saturday Night Line Up (ITV) has Paul O'Grady being silly. Home Advantage (RTE1) returns on Ireland, The Hit List and The Cube continue.

Your regular choice of German-language quizzes on Saturday night: "Hirschhausens Quiz des Menschen" on Das Erste, "Denn sie wissen nicht, was passiert" on RTL. On Sunday, the Vox channel has "Die leckerste Idee Deutschlands", comparing some of the best inventions and new products. Pro7 has "Die Job-Touristen", training candidates in a hotel over three Thursdays. The television awards are presented in "Der Deutsche Fernsehpreis" on RTL, also on Thursday.

"The Wheel" comes to Dutch-language channel SBS6 on Sat. This week's well-known faces are Henny Huisman, Samantha Steenwijk, Bobbi Eden, Frank Evenblij, Bert van Leeuwen, Jack Plooij, and Rene Froger. The host is Rob Kemps, who said "Since the beginning I have been a superenthusiast of The Wheel. It is a beautiful start to my television adventure." Topical quiz "Dit Was Het News" is on bvn.tv on Thursday.
