  • Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 7.45) A new series begins, with all fifteen Strictly Come Dancing current stars introduced. Plus a performance by Bill Bailey, and cabaret from singer Anne-Marie.
  • Eurovision Again (, 8pm) Another classic contest, with songs to enjoy and (we hope!) a real honest scoreboard to snigger at.
  • The Big Deal (VM1, 8pm) Vogue Williams hosts a talent show.
  • Home Advantage (RTE1, 8.30) Fullers from Galway, Searles from Dundalk, and Courtneys from Kilkenny. We'll review these two Irish shows in the next Week.
  • Beat the Chasers (ITV, 8.30) They've expanded the pod, it now seats six people.
  • QI (BBC2, 9pm) Parts.
  • Ready to Mingle (VM2 and ITV2, 9.30) Highlights from the first week.
  • Paul O'Grady's Saturday Night Line-Up (ITV, 9.35) With no tennis, we might remember to watch this. With a line-up of Amanda Holden, David Haye, Johnny Vegas, and Aston Merrygold, we might not.

Topical quiz Dit Was Het News is on on Thursday. Francophone channel TV5 has Tout le monde veut prendre sa place and Questions Pour un Champion every single weekday, like they've done since the Eiffel Tower was a pile of bolts on the ground.
