It's Schlag den Star night! (Pro7 and bothersbar.co.uk, Sat). Olivia Jones and Katja Burkard take on the duels for €100 000. Das Supertalent continues on RTL, and ARD spends three hours on Das Adventsfest der 100 000 Lichter, an evening of entertainment and silliness. On Friday, Geh aufs Ganze! (Sat.1) reminisces about their version of Let's Make a Deal.

TF1 has a new diversion for Saturday nights: La Grand Secrète, where celebrities hear their favourite songs re-interpreted by singing stars, while their own families surprise them on stage. Davina McCall would love this format. France 2 replies with N'oubliez pas les paroles (Don't forget the lyric).

More musical fun on De Top 2000 Quiz (NPO3, Wed), celebrating the NPO's annual countdown of the listeners' top 2000 songs. (Het is stemweek! The active voting window starts this Saturday. Find out if "Roller coaster" is still number 1 on new year's eve.)
