They're raising the cakes! Get your flour ready, prepare for soggy bottoms, because Bake Off is back (C4, Tue).

Friday night is finals night. Wales' Home of the Year (BBC1 Wales) and Celebrity Masterchef (BBC1 network). Mock the Week reaches the beginning of the end (BBC2, Fri) by (er) being cancelled.

Many daytime shows didn't air. On BBC2, Chase the Case and Eggheads were replaced by displaced BBC1 programmes - Bargain Hunt, The Bidding Room, Antiques Road Trip, and Pointless all moved across with repeat episodes. Tuesday 13 September

Most of BBC1 daytime moves to BBC2 again, including Bargain Hunt, The Bidding Room and Antiques Road Trip. No Chase the Case, Eggheads or Pointless today; expect new episodes of the latter to be held off until next week at the earliest. ITV's daytime slate is completely cleared for news.
