TV Guide This Week

Line 1: Line 1:

It's the height of summer, which can mean only one thing: Fighting Talk is back (Radio 5, 11am Saturday). And, for the third time this year, Just a Minute returns (Radio 4, 6.30 Monday). Other than that, we're struggling: Jason Manford sings opera (Born to Shine, ITV, 8pm Sun), The Superstars reaches Cwmbran (ESPN Classic, weekday mornings), and another chance to see The Block (UKTV Home, 7pm Thu).
+
After last week's famine, something of a feast for all tastes. The toughest quizzes around, Round Britain Quiz (R4, 1.30) and Only Connect (BBC4, 8.30), both return on Monday. Over on Channel 5, there are revivals for Big Brother (Thursday, 9pm) and The Bachelor (Friday, 10pm). On Channel 4, there's a Streetdance documentary (8pm Sat, 9pm Sun), and on The Satellite Channel some Safebreakers (8pm Monday).

Revision as of 17:23, 11 August 2011

After last week's famine, something of a feast for all tastes. The toughest quizzes around, Round Britain Quiz (R4, 1.30) and Only Connect (BBC4, 8.30), both return on Monday. Over on Channel 5, there are revivals for Big Brother (Thursday, 9pm) and The Bachelor (Friday, 10pm). On Channel 4, there's a Streetdance documentary (8pm Sat, 9pm Sun), and on The Satellite Channel some Safebreakers (8pm Monday).
