One Versus One Hundred (8.05 Saturday, BBC1)

The superior quiz returns with Ben Shephard in control.

Beat the Star With Vernon Kay (6.45 Sunday, ITV)

Eight-part game show in which members of the public will compete against a celebrity in seven games. The opener pits a policeman from Plymouth against boxer Amir Khan. None of the games involves beating Vernon Kay with a ninja star.

The Baron (10.35 Thursday, ITV)

Three celebrities - Malcom McLaren, Mike Reid, and Suzanne Hearsay - get the chance to join the upper class by convincing the residents of a small Scottish fishing village of Gardenstown that they should be their baron. The title can be inherited.
