TV Guide This Week

(Bryn Terfel scholarship seems to be coverage of existing event; No Taste Like Home may well qualify)
Line 1: Line 1:
-
For UK viewers, it's a case of waiting all week for the first week proper of Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 9pm Friday) and some repeats of So Wrong It's Right (Radio 4, 6.30 Thursday). Would I Lie to You moves to Thursday this week. Food for the interim? The possibly non-gamey There's No Taste Like Home (ITV, 4pm weekdays). In Ireland, Dana's last appearance on Celebrity Bainisteoir (RTE1, 6.30 Sunday), a new run of An Gig Jig (TG4, 7.30 Sunday), and we defy anyone to work out the content of Sing! (RTE2, 5.30 Monday). And in Wales, coverage of a scholarship in the name of Bryn Terfel (S4C, 9pm Saturday and 6.30 Sunday).
+
Strictly Come Dancing begins in earnest on Saturday, and Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two resumes (BBC2, 6.30 weekdays). There's a new run of Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2, 10pm Monday), and the second series of Beer & Pizza Club (ITV4, 10pm Tuesday). New runs of The Apprentice Ireland (TV3, 9pm Monday) and America's Next Top Model (UK Living, 9pm Tuesday). And the return of some old faves - Splatalot (BBC2, 8.25am Saturday), Don't Scare the Hare (BBC1, 2.50 Saturday), and Impossible? (Channel 5, 11pm Wednesday).
