It's Eurovision Song Contest week, with the semi-finals on Tuesday and Thursday (8pm, BBC3 and RTE2; Tue also RTE Radio 1) and a whole host of supporting programming (A Little Bit Eurovision, 50 Years of Eurovision, From Abba to Azerbaijan, Eurovision's Dirty Secret). There is life beyond Baku - Off By Heart Shakespeare (BBC2, 9pm Sat) invites young people to remember the words of Little Billy. Penn and Teller Tell a Lie (Quest, 9pm Wed) features six truths and a little bitty fib. And Have I Got News for You (BBC1, 9pm Fri) brings together William Shatner and Charlie Brooker in one massive geek explosion.
+
A very quiet week for game shows: we have A Question of Sport going entertainment (BBC1, 6.50 Sat), the Countdown finals (C4, 2.40 all week), and the television premier of The Hunger Games (C4, 9pm Sat), and we have Tim Vine and Mel Giedroyc on Catchphrase (ITV, 6.25 Sun). And that's it.

TV Guide This Week
TV Guide This Week

Current revision as of 18:49, 6 December 2018

A very quiet week for game shows: we have A Question of Sport going entertainment (BBC1, 6.50 Sat), the Countdown finals (C4, 2.40 all week), and the television premier of The Hunger Games (C4, 9pm Sat), and we have Tim Vine and Mel Giedroyc on Catchphrase (ITV, 6.25 Sun). And that's it.

Schedules subject to change.
