Ulsterman whose career started with Channel 4's abominable breakfast show RI:SE and has risen substantially since, including various slots on Radio 1 (partnered with Edith Bowman in the golden age), the Fighting Talk show on Five Live, and picking up a Sony Gold medal for Music Broadcaster Of The Year in 2007.
Trivia
His birth name, as disclosed on the 5 September 2022 edition of Countdown, is Luke Wright; his first name was changed after two days after a family member pointed out that was a direction, and Murray was his stepfather's surname.
He used to be a grave digger.
