Synopsis
Two teams, representing England and Australia, answer trivia questions about cricket in general, and the Ashes Test matches in particular. Part of the entertainmet came from discussion and anecdote around the topic; the host, Mr. Mann, kept the game moving on and the banter remained fresh.
An unusual rule was that some of the answers were deliberately and egregiously wrong. Teams were encouraged to challenge incorrect answers under the Decision Referral System for large bonuses; two incorrect DRS challenges were allowed per team. Almost inevitably, the show was decided in the final buzzer round.
Champions
England (Simon Hughes, Mark Butcher, Miles Jupp)
Trivia
The defeated Australians were: Jim Maxwell, Mark Little, Jared Kimber.
Recorded at Hampstead Cricket Club on 1 July 2013.
As happens on the BBC's breaking news network, the broadcast was twice interrupted for news of a military coup in Egypt.
