Synopsis

Following on from the first religious quiz, What Do You Say?, Southern Television brought us the first televised competition to find a new hymn for the United Kingdom (does anyone detect that they were expecting a Eurovision Hymn Contest?).

All in all, it was a very successful venture for Southern as no fewer than 6,000 entries from around the world were entered for the competition.
