New autumn season starts here! Saturday is perhaps the most anticipated day of the year, as someone is guaranteed to get extremely rich, on national television, by sheer chance. Yes, Saturday is the return of Winning Streak (RTE1, 8.15). A similar idea in the UK for Red or Black? (ITV, 7pm, and continuing all week). Masterchef Australia kicks off on Watch (7pm Sunday, and continuing all week), and Masterchef Ireland comes to RTE2 (9.30 Tuesday, also Thursday). New episodes of The Chase (ITV, 5pm weekdays, including Scotland), and Celebrity Big Brother reaches its conclusion (C5, 9.30 Thursday). The News Quiz (Radio 4, 6.30) is back on Friday, so is Would I Lie to You (BBC1, 9.30), civilian Big Brother (C5, 9.30), and QI (BBC2, 10pm). And that's just the highlights!
+
A very quiet week for game shows: we have A Question of Sport going entertainment (BBC1, 6.50 Sat), the Countdown finals (C4, 2.40 all week), and the television premier of The Hunger Games (C4, 9pm Sat), and we have Tim Vine and Mel Giedroyc on Catchphrase (ITV, 6.25 Sun). And that's it.

TV Guide This Week
TV Guide This Week

Current revision as of 18:49, 6 December 2018

A very quiet week for game shows: we have A Question of Sport going entertainment (BBC1, 6.50 Sat), the Countdown finals (C4, 2.40 all week), and the television premier of The Hunger Games (C4, 9pm Sat), and we have Tim Vine and Mel Giedroyc on Catchphrase (ITV, 6.25 Sun). And that's it.

Schedules subject to change.
