Synopsis

By the magic of undersea cable, two teams of (what would nowadays be called) celebrities - one in the UK, the other in the USA - competed in this live radio quiz, answering questions on each other's country and culture.

After many years in abeyance, the format was revived in 1979, and again for two series in the mid-80s. The UK team at this time was the resident London pairing on Round Britain Quiz
