Synopsis

Each week, two people who have never cooked before, or have and are rubbish at it, are taught some cookery skills by Gordon Jones, head chef at Bath's 5 Star Royal Crescent Hotel. Across ten challenges over seven days, they compete to see who's less bad at creating edible food, as well as picking up tips on general home economics. At the end, the winner hosts what is described as the 'ultimate' dinner party.

Part of the BBC's "Headroom" mental health campaign, on the grounds that eating nice stuff makes you happy. We're not going to argue with that. Now if you'll excuse us, there's a gateau in the fridge with our name on it.
