Synopsis
According to a BBC presser:
- Filmed in Manchester, the series will capture the cultural synergy between fashion, music, sport, celebrity and business and will provide one individual with a life-changing prize – a contract with Flannels to exclusively buy and stock the next collection from the winning creative. Grammy Award winning artist Miguel will lead the judging panel as senior judge and Executive Producer, alongside British artist, clothing designer, skateboarder and model Blondey McCoy, entrepreneur and fashion designer Marc Jacques Burton with Radio 1 DJ, Clara Amfo as the show’s host.
We're not sure whether to file alongside The Great British Sewing Bee as a fashionable show prizing originality and invention, or The Apprentice for speaking so much jargon it's inaccessible to casual viewers.
