Biography

In the eighties he had spells as a producer at Radio 1, Head of Music at Piccadilly again and senior producer at BBC Radio Manchester, finally launching himself as a presenter on Radio 5 in 1990, and Radio 1 the year after, where he had a "cult" following together with Marc Lard Riley. You can now find him co-hosting a weekend breakfast show with Stuart Maconie on BBC Radio 6 Music.
