The best Saturday night quiz with balls is Catchpoint (BBC1). We've also got quiz with darts (Oci Oci Oci!, S4C), and quiz with video links (Home Advantage, RTÉ1).

As a new Sewing Bee starts, an old Interior Design Masters ends (both BBC1, Wed). There's a new series of The Good, the Bad and the Unexpected (R Scotland, Fri). Richard Hammond's Crazy Contraptions (C4, Fri) is held together with chewing gum and sticky-backed plastic.

De dag van vandaag (één, weeknights) appears to be a quiz about the day's news. The BBC tried something similar here, without much success - does anyone remember The Cram?! 10 voor taal resumes on SBS6 (Tue).
