John Inverdale
Biography
Long-serving sports reporter who started out with the Lincolnshire Echo in 1979, joined Radio Lincolnshire in 1982, and became well-known nationwide when he became presenter of Sport on 2 (the Radio 2 forerunner of Five Live's Sport on 5) in 1988. Other telly work includes Grandstand, Onside and Rugby Special.
