Happy new year. Saturday continues the run of The Masked Singer, and follows it with The Voice (both VM1 and ITV). BBC1 strikes back with The Wheel. On Sunday, Beat the Chasers returns (VM1 and ITV), we pick up Family Fortunes (ITV), and it's the Great New Year Bake Off (C4).

Daily reality show on VM2 and ITV2: The Cabins pairs up single people, sends them to a remote log cabin, and see what happens. Pooch Perfect (BBC1, Thu) gets into dog grooming, Would I Lie to You gets into fibs (BBC1, Fri), Elephant in the Room gets into the average (Radio 4, Thu), and Crackerjack! gets into cabbages (CBBC, Fri).

In daytime, Pointless has new episodes (BBC1), and Lingo continues (ITV). In Welsh, Y Talwrn starts its new series (R Cymru, Sun).
