Biography
Born in Salford in 1981, Jason first came to public attention as a presenter on the Xfm radio station in Greater Manchester. He came to national attention when he succeeded Dave Spikey as a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats in 2007. He has continued this role while appearing on a number of other TV shows, and also regularly touring his stand-up comedy show. In August 2010, he succeeded Adrian Chiles as a main presenter on BBC One's evening magazine show The One Show, however he left the programme in November of the same year.
Trivia
He won Best Breakthrough Act at the 2006 Chortle Awards.
He and his wife Catherine have three children, twins girls born in August 2009, and another girl born in December 2010.
