The week's big promo is The Door (ITV, 9pm Friday), in which ITV celebrities are given painful things to do, with Chris Tarrant laughing at them. Daily Cooks Challenge appears on ITV (3pm weekdays), there's a new run of The Unbelievable Truth (Radio 4, 6.30 Monday), and another chance to miss Heads or Tails (C5, 7.30 Wednesday). Have I Got News for You returns in an unorthodox Thursday night slot (BBC1, 9pm Thursday) - but the Saturday repeat's still on Saturday. Radio 4 marks Easter with a Counterpoint special (12.04 Friday). Wales completes its digital switch-over at the end of March, so the analogue rebroadcasts of Channel 4 programmes on S4C come to an end. S4C becomes an entirely Welsh-language channel, and S4C Digidol becomes the only variant. Channel 4 will be available across Wales, channel 8 on DTTV sets.
+
University Challenge has its two annual finals: the quiz finishes on Monday (BBC2, 8pm), and is preceded by the Boat Race (BBC1 and Eurosport, from 3.15 Saturday), back on terrestrial television for the first time since 2004. BBC marks the Easter break with All New Total Wipeout (BBC1, 5.20 Saturday; also CBBC 10am Sat and Sun, BBC3 7.10 Monday), featuring all-new water, all-new obstacles, and an all-new hosting duo. What? It's still Hammond and Byram? Not exactly All New, is it? See also: West End Story (BBC1, 4.10 Easter Monday), following the winners of three recent BBC / Lloyd Webber singing contests. ITV finishes off The Door (8.25 Saturday), and launches into a new run of Divided (5pm from Tues, not STV). Masterchefs finals week is condensed into three days (BBC1, Mon - Wed), but there's always Great British Menu to tickle the taste buds (BBC2, 6pm Tuesday, then 6.30 weeknights).

A guide to game shows broadcast in the UK and Ireland for the week beginning 3 April 2010

Schedules are subject to change.

Masterchef's finals week is condensed into three days (BBC1, Mon - Wed), but there's always Great British Menu to tickle the taste buds (BBC2, 6pm Tuesday, then 6.30 weeknights).
