Once Upon a Time

Margaret Lockwood

BBC-tv, 28 July 1954 (pilot only)

The format remains a bit of a mystery, but given the rather intriguing cast list, we would hazard a guess that the subject was cinema. Leading lady Margaret Lockwood was in the chair, with two teams each made up of a dramatic actor, a comic actor, and a screenwriter: Kenneth Home, Leslie Phillips and lain MacCormick versus Michael Trubshawe, David Tomlinson and Eric Sykes.
