This week's German massive quizzes are Das Gro&szelig;e Deutschland-Quiz on ZDF, and 5 Gegen Jauch on RTL, where a clever celebrity tries to beat members of the public and celebs. Both at 7.15 on Saturday. Let The Music Play - Das Hit Quiz runs weeknights on Sat.1, it's a version of Name That Tune.

On Thursday, Beauty and the Nerd begins a new series on Pro7. Friday has a double hit from RTL, Top Dog Germany and The Wheel - Promis drehen am Rad. On the latter, the part of Michael McIntyre is played by Chris Tall.

For French speakers, Fort Boyard is on TV5 at Saturday teatime. In Dutch, De Slimste Mens continues on bvn.tv each weeknight.
