TVS's programme library was bought by International Family Entertainment in 1993; consequently, many of its programmes were shown on the British version of The Family Channel (later Challenge). A series of takeovers resulted in the library coming under the ownership of Disney in 2001. However, it was revealed in the 2010s that Disney shredded the majority of the paperwork documentation for rescreening and wiped master tapes of the shows that have been stored in the TVS archives for years.
