Defintion:
Programmes made by Television South.

TVS replaced Southern as the ITV station for the South and South East of England on 1 January 1982. It was itself replaced by Meridian on 1 January 1993, after overbidding in the 1991 ITV franchise auction.

TVS's programme library was bought by International Family Entertainment in 1993; consequently, many of its programmes were shown on the British version of The Family Channel (later Challenge). A series of takeovers resulted in the library coming under the ownership of Disney in 2001. In the subsequent years, Disney shredded a majority of the paperwork documentation required for rescreening and wiped many master tapes of shows; the result is that many TVS programmes cannot be repeated.
