Biography

Journalist/presenter most famous for her work on GMTV and her columns in The Sun and Sunday Post. Scottish accent and diminutive stature contribute to her public persona as the sweetest, loveliest person in the whole wide world.

Trivia

She was the Rector of the University of Dundee from 2004 to 2007, the fourth game show host in succession to have held the post following Stephen Fry, Tony Slattery and Fred MacAulay.

Appointed OBE in the 2012 New Years Honours list. Contrary to what you might expect, the citation was not for broadcasting, but for "services to charity and the armed forces".
