- Britain's Got Talent - Simon Cowell's lastest venture, an Opportunity Knocks for 2006 or thereabouts. Already made in the USA as America's Got Talent. (ITV1)
- Battle of the Exes - one-off relationship game show with Alex Zane and Jenny Frost. (E4)
- Ofn - Welsh-language "haunted house" game for children, along the lines of Scary Sleepover. BB7 contestants Imogen Thomas and Glyn Wise host. The title means "Fear", by the way. (S4C)
- It's looking increasingly like we're going to get another chance to go wild up Dale's aisles again - big rumours suggest Talkback Thames are making a new series of Supermarket Sweep for ITV.
- Trapdoor - Adventure game show for kids (RDF for CITV)
- Reversal of Fortune - strangely-titled quiz with Eamonn Holmes in which the contestants will apparently be shown the questions in reverse (i.e. backwards).
- Jerry Springer is piloting a show called Aladdin's Cave, where a couple goes into a cave of prizes and can pick any three, although if they pick the wrong ones they leave with nothing. Amazing.
- Challenge's stable of original programming expands even further with Showbiz Blackjack and Showbiz Darts coming later in the year. They've already done Showbiz Poker, you might see a theme developing here.
